Copper Box returns for our annual Labor Day performance in downtown Redgranite, WI. Food and beverages for sale, and as always, a loving community that welcomes everyone. Come celebrate with Copper Box!

Copper Box will be polka-rocking the night away under the big Germanfest tent at Waupun Volksfest! Delicious food (the fish fry is popular!) and tasty biers ( German and our very own Knuth's, too!!) for sale. Prost!

UPDATE: Our family, The Goodtime Dutchmen, will be performing before Copper Box from 3pm-7pm on Friday, as well.

Copper Box will close out the season at the Berlin Farmer's Market. The market is held Tuesday evenings June thru September at Nathan Strong Park. Music from 5pm-7pm. Food, water, and soda will be available for purchase, so come and support the Market.

About Oktoberfest It all started with a trip to Germany....

In the 1960s, Milwaukee’s mayor, Henry Maier, boarded a plane to Germany with a big idea. He wanted to see Munich’s world-famous Oktoberfest firsthand—the beer, the music, the joy that brought millions together every fall.

What he found wasn’t just a festival. It was a celebration of community—a gathering where strangers became friends at long wooden tables, where families shared meals, and where music and laughter filled the air.

Mayor Maier came home inspired. He dreamed of creating a space in Milwaukee where our city could celebrate its heritage and gather in the same spirit of Bavarian joy. That dream became Henry Maier Festival Park—the Summerfest grounds where we still celebrate today.

This October, we’re honoring his vision with Milwaukee Oktoberfest. Join us October 3–5 for three days of German beer, brats, music, and memories—right where it all began.

Sunday Funday at it's finest combined with an Oktoberfest Twist! With Spanky and Copper Box, you know you will have fun. Wear your tracht.... Prost!
