Happy New Year!

January 4, 2013

Thanks to everyone who continues to help us through another year, playing music is definitely the fun part of our job!

Some of our favorite 2012 memories (no special order):

  • That one show at Trempealeau Hotel...we were all packed inside and having a great time dancing and playing!
  • Chilton Beerfest, still a great place to let your hair down!
  • Sand Creek Brewery "Screw Winter Party!" ---the weather was actually beautiful in March 2012!
  • Jamming with The Iquana's (from New Orleans) at a birthday party in WI!
  • Our first Florida tour to Punta Gorda & Key West!
  • Good times at Kochanski's in Milwaukee!
  • We helped raise a lot of money for the Children's Hospital at the annual Lakeshore Days in Sheboygan!
  • Return to California, Missouri, New Orleans, Minnesota, etc.
  • Meeting other artists at festivals, shows, gas stations, etc.
  • Opening for REO Speedwagon.
  • Kurt's birthday bash/end of the world party!

Thanks for making these and many other great memories with us!  See you in 2013!

Copper Box

Happy New Year

January 1, 2016

Happy New Year to all of our music loving friends and families.   2015 was another busy year with great gigs and happy memories.  Aaron Zepplin, a local guitarist, was a frequent guest at Copper Box shows after July 4th and added a little extra 'musical goodness'.   Also, later in July Danny was given some great news, as he was offered a Hohner Accordions Artist Endorsement deal.  We're very thankful of the friendship and partnership with Hohner.  One 'not-so happy' memory in 2015 was when the band made a difficult decision and parted ways with the talented drummer, Jason VanRyzin.  We wish Jason the best in his future musical conquests and teaching career.  However in early October, Dan Cable (a childhood friend of bassist, Drew Hicks), jumped into the CBox van with his drums and has been doing a great job ever since!  Dan, aka DC, is married with 3 children, and resides in Winneconne, WI.

The 2016 calendar is already starting to fill up, as you can see on the calendar, and we will be releasing a full band recording before the Summer season.   Thank you to you all for your support and friendship.
